Visa Information
Attendees can check whether a visa is required to enter the UK by visiting the UK Government website.
Once the questionnaire has been completed, further information will be provided detailing what documentation will be required to enter the UK. An official letter of invitation for registered attendees is available on request from icn2025@cma.gov.uk.

Healthcare in Scotland
Depending on individual circumstances, overseas visitors may be charged for any healthcare required whilst in Scotland. However, in emergencies, any treatment is free until the patient is stabilised. We would recommend that visitors obtain travel insurance in the event that any treatment is required during their stay.
Visitors from the European Economic Area (EEA) or Switzerland will not need to pay for any treatment during their stay. Before you travel to Scotland, you must obtain a European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) in your own country. More details and how to apply can be found below.

Getting to the EICC
The main conference venue is the EICC, located at 150 Morrison Street, Edinburgh, EH3 8EE.
- The EICC is a 25-minute drive from Edinburgh Airport which is well serviced by public transport, and a 9-minute walk from Haymarket Train Station.
Travel from Edinburgh Airport
By Bus
The Airlink 100 operates a frequent bus service (every 10 minutes at peak times) between Edinburgh Airport and the city centre. The service starts at 4.30am and runs until 12.22am, with the journey taking approx. 20 minutes. Delegates are advised to disembark at Haymarket Railway Station and follow signs for the EICC (approx. 9-minute walk). See map for directions.
Edinburgh’s primary bus terminal is at St Andrews Square, offering connections across the UK. For route and timetable information visit National Express or City Link. For local services visit Lothian Buses.
By Tram
Edinburgh Trams run between the airport and central Edinburgh every 8-10 minutes Monday to Saturday, and every 12-15 minutes on a Sunday. The first tram from Edinburgh Airport departs at 6.15am and the last is 10.45pm. The closest tram stop to the EICC is at Haymarket Station. Follow signs for the EICC (approx. 10-minute walk). By Train
Waverley Station is 1.3 miles from the EICC with direct routes nationwide. Haymarket Station is 0.4 miles from the EICC serving commuter and UK routes.

By Taxi
There is an excellent taxi service from the airport to the city. Official airport taxis can be found at the taxi rank outside the terminal building (follow the signs within the airport). It costs approximately £30 to get a taxi from the airport to the city centre and takes 20 minutes depending on the time of day.
